thinking about it...some of the new potential workforce from our new EEC 'brethren' can actually work out well....but they DO need to speak at least understandable english...and write it.....and not smell. Generally they tend to be grafters, don't want 'silly' money and are reliable. It's just sorting the wheat from the chaff. Best of luck, got to be worth a go...considering the usual mindless teenagers many of us have tried to no avail, I know I have... Roll Eyes

yep, £60 a day is more than fair....wouldn't get that back 'home'.....(but I'd expect a ton's worth of work out of him/her to justify employment with me...I got overheads)

I gave myself a written warning today after catching myself urinating into a flowerpot in a punters herb garden and then spraying high melting point brake grease on the feet of a rival WC's ladders while they were tied to his roof bars.
I also gave myself a mild bollocking for trying to focus on a young lady who was having a shower behind a frosted window.
If I catch myself behaving in this scurrulous manner again I will have no alternative other than to fcuk myself down the road with no references and no severance pay.

The best way to pay is by checkz Roll Eyes

Had a checkz at the pit. We just spent all day drawing in the dust pictures of what I wanted him to do. He was a good worker actualy, called Robert Shocked I ecspected something more exotic than that.

he then had a conversation with his wife on the phone, which he said ran thus' The kids are playing up. Come home (London)'

In reality it went. I cant stand this backward hole, I'll be back tommora'.

2 years later I heared from his solicitor. They were going to deport him, no proper visa. 'My cliant, my lud, has the offer of a job up north at a colliery'

No chance.
