Willie always said to swap the pad the other way for high work on a pole, so nothing copied by Wagtail. The hip dipper is really light - only wish they had made it slightly wider so it was easier for two wagtails to go in & out. The detailing tool with the cap may help some, it will just fit a scrim with a little effort. The ergonomic poles also help you get a longer reach.

Yes, a boab needs to be solid and wide IMO, so you can drop your waggy(s) in, for speed and efficiancy.

The top of the hip dipper is solid.

Hi Karl, how long are the ergonomic poles ? Is the hip dipper Actually meant for loading your strip pad with solution ? Lastly what is the `detailing`tool? Can`t find anything doing a search, sorry for all these questions But I`ve got something `on the go`right now that possibly some Of these tools may benefit. Thanks.

1. Willie sent me 2, one was around a foot the other around half meter. 2. It can be if you want it to be - you saw the video. 3. It´s at the end of one of the videos, you see the guy place a black cap on the ext' arm with a microfibre on it.

Karlos i mean karl sorry . is the new wagtail. the same as we discussed when on the subject of the swoop and the ability to scrub by turning the handle inwards towards the window to scrub and then by taking back again to squeegee. and when doing this the squeegee / washer never left the glass surface....

The top of the hip dipper is solid. I just use the wide part of a boab to drop my flipper in. DONT use it to wet the wagtail though. Empty all the drips every now and again and try using a bottle to apply solution to your pad. The only advantage I can see to Willies new hip dipper is that it is going to be very light and certainly more comfortable.

yes I use a normal boab to keep 2 in, 14" and 18". only to drain though, never to wet.

I sorta can't keep up with all the different models. But I know the one you are talking about. The new Wagtail Swoop has a deeper angle on the added aluminum frame on the back (like the prototype) and is also a fixed pad (not floppy). The combi sees a return to the riveted channel & centre punched but with different options of adding pads. You are not allowed to view links.
