was thinking about getting a telescopic ladder got proper ramsay pointed but thought a telescopic would be handy for indoor ans wee jobs anyone used them whats the fors and against them ??

They are handy and a real good idea but make sure you extend the sections so that they lock into place at BOTH SIDES.  If not they collapse at one side and ruin the ladder for good aswell as taking you off the ladder.

also when putting them back down  you have to treat them like awkwrights till in open all hours  otherwise you can lose the skin off your fingers and even the flesh  as they drop very fast.

Some do Steve and others dont, the tougher more expensive ones drop quicker and the cheap 'uns slower.

Both of my sets are goosed.
