Finding when working trad I need a small set of steps (900mm high) for those higher ground floor windows, both inside & out.
Just wondering what you guys use and if anyone uses the fold up platforms (900mm H x 300mm W x 1000mm L) or if the steps are best.
Thanks

I already have a 6ft  A type ladder that opens up to an 11ft straight ladder but this is way to big especially on insides with expensive furniture to keep clear of.  Really just needing 3ft or thereabouts.

I was about to purchase a set of these small alloy steps today and the salesman suggested the platform type as a lot of tradesmen (painters etc) were now using these. You would be able cover more window before having to reposition.

The 'Trad' way or the highway.

I have always used a 6 foot wood 'A' ladder,  The shape of the top of the ladder is made for resting on, and between, window frames, and it is also easy to carry with your large ladder in one hand, and your bucket in the other when moving around.
