Had a customer today who said she did not want her windows cleaned anymore  because she had self cleaning glass  just put in .so i asked her how it worked . she showed  me by going upstairs and she cleaned one of her windows .i said thats not self cleaning glass because you have just cleaned it yourself . I then asked her how long it would take her to clean the windows .About a morning . I was charging her £15 but when she gets fed up and ask's me to clean them the new price will be £18  or £20 depends on the mood i am in .I blame the sales man who sold the windows .I bet he has turned around & told her that by having self cleaning glass that she can save £180 a year which she can put towards the cost of her new windows

I think we all have dealt with these people in the past.
And your right, she will come back to you  Roll Eyes....and then tell her BECAUSE of the "self cleaning film" on the window you now have to take more care not to rip it (although there is no film) so the price now is £lots more. Grin

We have a couple of houses with these windows fitted (what a joke) I would love to see this self cleaning glass clean off bird muck or an egg.
I would not even take the customer back if they said that to me, the next thing will be can you do it for less as it has self cleaning glass lol

Had this once on a large commercial car sales.I was a bit peeved when they said they had "special" gunge sprayed on the windows which self cleaned,I was told I was not needed anymore.

I cleaned their other garages and after about 5 months they asked me to start cleaning them again. What it did not do was clean off the tons of starling bird poo. They admitted it cost a fortune and was utter rubbish.
