A regular customer has asked me to clean the inside of their conservatory roof,i'm thinking of charging an hourly rate as it is a hexagonal conservatory with the roof going upto apoint,so i have no idea how long it will take . It is about 10ft high at the tallest point.
My question is what should i clean it with there is a fair bit of black mould. Huh?

I've done one of these and it was a sh** job to do.  It knackers your shoulders and neck, plus you will have to factor in all the plastics plus the glass frames and sills plus floor.

I did one for a customer who was a sound guy, and did it for £35-...BIG mistake! it took me 2.5hrs to do(properly).

The customer was chuffed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

I have done one very recently. I used Cif on the whites and cleaned the glass with squeegie.

I charged £150.

The customer seemed very happy. I was there 4 hours. Hope this helps.

The conservatory is pictured on my website, under gallery if you want to look.

i use a 6 ft pole with a swivel 14 inch scrubber on the end . then go over it all with a clean scrim draped over the scrubber sleeve.

I've got one coming up soon as well.  I'm going to use a tall stepladder, pole, wagtail, cif etc. and charge per hour.  Hope yours goes well.  Let us know how you get on.

Hi kj. I to have done a few of these, they can be a night mare, the best way for me is a wag tail washer and blade. Step ladder and I charge around £55.00. Takes me 1.5 hrs for a good job. Hope it goes well for you

Absolute nightmare! Took me a good 2.5 hrs to do glass and all the plastics which were mouldy. Cant remember what I charged it was about 50 I think, I used some chem gloves and a sponge with Hypochlorite on it just made sure it wasn't soaking so it didn't drip everywhere but it was a stone tile floor which was ok. Really done in my neck and shoulders tho but the difference it made to the conservatory was incredible.

Cool Cool At last i finally did this as the customer asked me to clean inside the conservatory as well , inside and outside the house and the consevatory roof .
For the inside of the connie roof i used a white vinegar spray that i bought from wilkinsons , cost a whole £1 !!!, what a great product the black mould just seamed to melt away , i just soaked the mould with the spray left it a couple of minutes and wiped it off with a micro-fibre cloth and then buffed it up with another. Cheesy
