craig, i think £10 4 a 3 bed house is about right  Smiley
as long as ur happy, custie is happy, does'nt matter wot everyone else charges  Wink

Hello mate, I was just enquiring as I also do canvassing and sell work to other window cleaners, trying to see what areas would be worth canvassing cos if some areas are dirt cheap I wont bother

Not being funnyt, but I don't imagine any lads putting up any more info then tbh, don't want our work being canvassed.

Im not asking for specific areas to undercut anyone mate, Im just asking for rough ideas of what the going rate for a window cleaner in a certain part of the country, I just wanna see if theres much difference in price structure in the North to the south ect, and when I knock on doors if they say they have a window cleaner and can I beat him on price I always say '' No, I dont take anyone elses work ''

Fair play.

im in the midlands and a normal 3 bed semi about £8 and a 4 bed £10 but i normally try and work out how long each job will take, e.g if its in a road i normally work in and will take 20 mins with packing away and wiping cills, clean front door, close the gate etc then thats £10

im in the south west i charge £12 min for 3 beds £15 3 beds with conservatorys I ask for at least £1 per window frame or door. I only wfp tops and bottoms clean all the frames doors cills vents door steps, I always shut the gates. I try to look as professional as possible i find it helps with prices. There is window cleaners that will charge £8-£9 for the same houses i my area doing it both ways trad + wfp but i decided 4 years ago i would quote the price i wanted for cleaning not what i thought the customer wanted to pay. It has worked for me.

why oh why would you do this (unless you are claiming dole and have no insurance and avoid tax). you would be better off working in tescos.

wow 3 kwid for houses that have 14 windows.... thay can and do mine 14 windows would be £25 or more in middlesbrough but then again its £6 for a 3 bedroom house with 6 windows that takes me 8 mins to clean well £6 for 8 mins work can't be bad
