Hi People,

Currently looking for a partner to back me financially in building a run from scratch. I have experience in building runs, as I have built up 3 previously and sold them on. I am currently working full time but am looking to build up run from nothin, work part time, then when large enough go into full time. I am looking to start in Central Scotland and will gradually work my way out both ways into Glasgow and Edinburgh etc.

What i'm looking for is a van with a wfp system, or money to buy. I do all my own leafleting, canvassing, business sales, telesales and window cleaning. I make all my own leaflets through computer, so only outlay will be on van and equipment to get started.

Happy to discuss any sort of offer or suggestion. E-mail me on You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

good luck with that idea, why would any window cleaner in their right mind finance someone else to start up a business? Just wondering what I would get out of the deal

Thanks

Hi SalesGuru,

I have no money to get a van or WFP set up either. I never thought getting someone else to pay...... Wink

I am using the family car (Ford Fusion) and bought traditional kit. I am canvassing, leaflet dropping etc etc and I will get enough custom to earn a living and get the van and the WFP system. This I am determined to do within a year.

Why?..........because I hate my job and I want to resign,............but I have a wife and an eighteen month old daughter to support, a mortgage and all the other things that go with it. So I am happy to work hard using ladders and build up a round until I can afford the kit I want.

I mean you no offence Sales, but a ladder can be bought for £100 ish and trad kit was less than £50.

Good luck.

for most of us am sure that's how we started, one set at the time!!!

and like you've said, it's a very small outlay, enough to get you going untill you building up enough and earn enough for the WFP.

or

Go to the bank with a business plan and they'll lend you the cash!!!

lads I could be totally wrong but I looked at the name on the email address and googled it and found the health centre he worked for then I googled the name and window cleaning and he had a round for sale in Cumbernauld worth 1500 a month for sale and on the add it said he was going to go national but lost interest.

its an unusual name so for that reason I am out. but if I am wrong Jamie sorry but you really did not think someone would hand over money without a bit of research did you

sorry I have posted this twice its on the wfp board as well

OK Guru,
I like your USP! My cheque books on the table and quil and ink poised....... Roll Eyes
But tell me first,
1.Do they have windows in central Scotland?
2.Do people want them cleaned even?
3.Does anything ever land on your lap and not right on your nuts?
4. Then why dont yee get out their, get 300 customers first, get yee butt up a ladder first like we all did sunshine and then go to the bank? This is not the DSS website!

Iv heard it all now....!! Shocked

BTW, anyone spare me a tenner for lunch tommorow??
