Anyone else take their dog out with them.I mean properly out.My Staffordshire Bull Terrier comes to every house with me,the customers love him, especially the old ladies,he gets a biscuit while i do the windows.I genuinely believe some of them would pay just to spend a few minutes with him.A lot of them have said how gentle he is when he takes the biscuit from their hands.I never get offered a biscuit.

thats great pal, my stafffy & rhodesian ridgeback come with me but sadly the sight of a cat or strangely any big black dog sends them mental so they have to stay in the car if i'm working. funny though little old ladies seem to love the staffy & she's the most affectionate dog i've had most underated breed ever,

ive got a 2-1/2 year old english springer that i take around in the back of the van (used to be in the front until he chewed through the seat belts and gear knob on the old scudo) i dont let him out as hes like the dog out of marley and me on speed!!!! im assured they calm down by the time there 7 yr old tho, so maybe 1 day i will unleash him on the blue rinse brigade!!!   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

no they don't slow down that is why I don't take mine Grin he would be in every open door, bin, hedge, tree, you name it, saying that he calmed down a bit when he got knackers removed Undecided the wife took him to that one poor sod, but now he wants to fight every male dog he see's, I think he is a bit jealous Cry

I have found alot of people have sacked previous window cleaners because they are not happy with another persons dog being on their property.

I personally don't think it looks great to customers, but each to their own. (Plus my dog is a bit daft)

I see what you're saying about some people and other dogs but i've had most of the same customers for 8 years now and feel i have a real relationship with most of them.I still get lots of personal recommendations from dog owners and non dog owners so it's working out well for me.He is a very calm, easy going dog, very friendly and doesn't run amok.I wouldn't do it with every dog though.

it all depends on how well the dog behaves, but what's  great in your case is that it lets people see how great a staffy can be in the right hands - they were known as the nanny dog, before they became popular with nob heads -
