It would be worth your while investing in a Harris pole, wfp brush, pole hose and a garden hosereel for connecting to custies outside tap if only for reaching the bits above conservatories etc.

some good advice there guys, thanks  Wink
i do relise that wfp is the way to go but i only do this at the weekend at the moment so if the facias and soffits works out it might generate more cash for me to get a wfp system.
what is the best way to work out pricing for it?

Guess  Grin
I price for the amount of time I expect the job to take then add a bit cause I no it will almost always take longer than I first thought.

;)If you know what you want an hour , give them a rough price but tell them you will charge hourly, this works for me.

Facias on the average house I charge about £25 per side inc gutters. I don't include gable ends in the price or soffits as some are wood and flaky and the black dirt just smears everywhere. Thats a seperate job and I make them aware of that. Some soffits have air vents in them too and are a nightmare to clean with a pole and you don't want to get their loft wet! Cons roof dependant on the job. Do your hourly rate you want then add more as it can take time away from doing your regular windows.

I charge £3 per mtr for outside of guttering, Fascias & soffits...As said before wfp, tap water + ubik 2000 to deep clean dirty plastic.
A Harris pole is much to short to reach over conservatories on most jobs. Also stay off ladders if you value your life Grin

I always found ecover cream cleaner to be pretty good for cleaning up UPVC - tended only to use a pole where I couldn't get up close though.  I did use a soft brush on a pole attachment for removing surface dirt though which did the job ....
