Just done gutter clean and was asked to clean some upvc facia, the custie took down a small part of some ivy, and it has left the suckers on the facia, any idea what the best thing is to get it off.
Also what do you guys use to clean white upvc to bring it back up to a good standard.

If the customer wants a really fantastic finish then t-cut the pvc but it will take about 4 times aslong.
(You know how long it takes to do the car)
Proper pvc cleaner takes the top layer off so it looks good at first but gets dirtier quicker. If your cleaning by hand then a mild bleach solution will work but be careful not to get it on plants etc.
I do my gutters and facias, etc with purewater and get a really good finish. If they are really dirty I spray some gg on the brush head and work it in before spraying water to clean off.
As for the ivy..... Try using your scraper with the safety cover ON. That way it will not scratch the pvc but once again it will take time to get it off. Check if the customer is prepared to pay extra for getting it off before attempting as it is a pain to do completely..... Best if they are prepared to live with it as it will probably still be stained after you get the suckers off.....
Regards
Mr H
