well done  James  scotland..  a  small breakthrough  really  is !

about the  vinegar bit ??.  a  few  drops will suffice...  ive been  told  this quite often  from German housewifes.. it helps  break down  water in  hard water areas. so if  if your in a soft water area. you dont really need  it.  or  need a very minimal amount.  its an acid  so really  less is better.. literally  a  few  drops in 1L  of pure water with a squirt of  ecover is enough...  your better off with out  it  IMO

made this video  today  after using the stuff  last few  days..

John the reason that i used the vinegar is that it cuts through the grime quicker and better plus it leaves a better shine with the added vinegar! Wink

its brilliant JAmes.. i had  to do a vid  because after trying what you said  . i  saw that this was  too good  to not be  be taken further  .........there  could actually  be  more  potential in this   than people can see at the moment.. if the chemical ( Wa  up LQ ) breaks  down  and leaves no residue   then that is  quite a break through  IMO....

Regarding the vInegar  i   was using that a few years back  but found if  you use  to  much  it can cause damage  to your hands and  oxidized  frames  for example and  certain flooring  and frames..Imo  you only  need a  few  drops..but James  really  well done on finding this out.. its  really  good  for  preventing streaking and smearing  and is  probably much healthier  than normal  cleaners  which is a BIg plus  point

Jon this is a quote from lewis doubtfire who posted this on jouks forum!

Quote
Glass it feels incredibly `smooth`,as if the `fines of the glass have been
Well cleaned out.My windows are very `hydraphobic`

That was the reason that i decided to try it with wfp the fact that it seems to clean the fines in the glass so well and makes them hydraphobic it just seems to work perfect for wfp as well.

I had a few windows no matter how much i rinsed there would still be some spots here and there when the windows dried, now i dont have that problem on those windows as i have said the ecover cleans the fines of the glass nothing is left behind.

Yes you are right john!

As i have said above about it cleaning out the fines in the glass!

Well with wfp when you would normally do a first clean on a house you would do all frames and glass then go back and just clean the glass! now i dont have to do this i clean the frames and glass and rinse there is no going back to clean the glass!

on maintenance cleans this is where it comes into its own, its a quick scrub with the brush and a quick rinse this has cut my cleaning time by half, and on first cleans has halved the cleaning time!

wagga  .. in direct sunlight is this stuff really fantastic !.....  i really cant speak highly enough  of it  after  using it all week........

James  mentions  something and the most  just  pass it  by..  but you  window  cleaning enthusiasts out there will see    or  hopefully  see what james  was  going on about  and the  great results  it bring

less smearing means  less headaches..  now  detailing  is a dream   your  scrim  micro or leather will mop up whats needed  and you wont get that residue   effect  left on the glass  after  detailing  with your  detailing  cloths leathers  etc... improved  quality and   a speeding up of  jobs.... its a  great  find
