the clip can be placed in the middle  to take away  the dog earing effect....  and you could possible  get away  with the clip being very short in length  even a quarter the original size   maybe --

the  point is the dog earing can be created in another way  with out cutting  a channel  wether that be a clip or adding extra thickness  to the channel  or blade  to  force the blade  to be dog eared and help with  leaving  as little water on the window as possible.. 

in effect   there is a patent there  or  design...  because when a  squeegee  is  dog eared  so being  that it does not alter performance .. this  can only  make the window cleaners  day easier  because there is  little or no detailing.. this will save  50 % time on detailing.   so which  serious window cleaner does not want that ?

   yes i know  Karl.. but  with the end clips in this position it kills 2  birds  with one stone !  and  is a lot  more  stable at holding a blade in place than an arsonists number one weapon


the main reason ime ranting on about it is  because the squeegees  performance is much better now IMO.. because  detailing on the Ninja is  much less and the things is lighter...ive noticed people have been put off  with those  end  clips and have  bought the thing and have left it in the truck gathering cobwebs.. with those  end clips  on it leaves way  too much water on the glass  afterwards . people have just got  to try it and then decide wether ime right or wrong or i have a point
