Of all you guys who do WFP , which pole do you reccomend , also do you think its worth paying extra for a better quality to start off with or just buying a cheapy to begin with. Cant help thinking if I get a cheapy first it wont be long till I am wanting a much better one, cheers Ted

Hi. I started with a Brodex which did the job fine. But I have now got 2 Gardiner poles. 1 x 18 ft & 1 x 27 ft. These poles are great. They light durable easy to use and not too expensive. I have CLX poles. You wo t regret it. Good investment. Smiley

Gardiners. Although a DIY harris will do the job on a really cheap budget.

MrWindows Is that what you have .
I have the 27ft CLX - my helper uses it 1x a week
Main is the 30ft SLX

also have a 60ft streamline for once a twice a week .

Would like to replace the 27ft CLX with either another 30ft SLX or 25ft SLX . Or if I can stretch to the expensive but I'm sure High quality 25ft Xtreame .

I'm I right in saying that this Xtreame canbe increased in size as time goes buy . So could purchase the 25ft one and then add as I can afford to ??

How good is the Xtreame MrWindows

Yes I have both poles plus extensions for the xtreme upto 78ft and a 47ft supermax.
The xtreme comes into it's own above 40ft. superb pole thats easy to control  at height, a lot lighter and stiffer than the supermax.
I don't use the xtreme below 30ft as the slx is light enough and stiff enough, plus you can clamp it anywhere along the each section unlike the xtreme.
The 25ft xtreme allows  2 sections to take it upto 35ft, if you want to go any higher you'll have to get the 35ft + extensions or 48ft xtreme + extensions.
The xtreme is a fantastic pole, not sure if it's necessary under 30ft.

cheers , I just want my helper to have a SLX as well , as its alot better than the CLX and I like the carbon necks and Cill brushes .
And instead of converting my CLX to a cill brush and carbon neck it's more  prudent to buy another SLX.
My helpers are good with equipment and also its back up for my 30ft SLX .
Dilema - thinking problems .

think i'd be best off with a 25ft SLX

yep it certainly is , I mix it up with my helper so he can have the slx sometimes as its a far superior pole .
Going to buy a 25ft SLX to have as a spare pole for me and when my helper is with me , he will have that .
The CLX will be used with a Vikan brush on it to clean facia's etc .
