Hi everyone, I'm new here and new to wfp.
I have just purchased a 40 inch R.O from Cleaning spot but it came with no instructions at all so i'm after some quick advice.
I bought the plastic housing which has three outlets...two on either side of the filter and one on the end cap. I just wanted to make sure which is the correct inlet, outlet and waste ports.
Also the membrane came with no instructions either, only thing is it has a green band one end, does this indicate anything? eg direction of flow? and it has on the ends two polyst ends do these stay on inside the filter housing or do they need to be removed?

Any help would be great as I dont want to damage anything before its had a chance to work.

Cheers
Rob

Hi Rob, I wouldn't accept it without instructions. Tell them you're not happy, ask them to send you the instructions or you want to return it.

I can rememer when I first set up my RO unit, it was confusing enough WITH the instructions so how they expect you to manage I don't know.

If you need another supplier I would recomend RO MAN.

Good luck,
Andy

Hi. Hope this helps.

The green band is the brine seal. Put that end in last. That goes at the feed end. (water in)
