Tank Float

Hi ,
My system fills up and has a booster pump.
Once it hits the level it should stop purifying .
The booster pump cuts out , but the basic purification still keeps going , obviously at a reduced rate .
The float cuts out if i manually hold it up .
Either a new float or is it solenoid ,
??
Its only a problem if I forget to pick it up after 2 hours , but there is a overflow .so not the end of the world .
