Discovered this morning that my Shurflo pump has been running all night on dry. Will this have damaged the pump in any way? Battery is flat so can't check it myself. Thanks.

not sure myself, but have taken one apart and there is not much inside to get damaged, it all works on a rotating paddle creating suction so that wont be affected. the only possible problem could be the actual motor getting hot.........you may be alright

That's my thinking too but it's always nice to see someone agreeing with me! It was chilly last night so that would have helped cool the motor. I'm waiting on my battery to fully recharge before trying the pump. Fingers crossed...
