i read on here last year that its illegal to help youself to the salt its council property  i would only be needing a bucket full to last me the year to put in my van in the back to stop condensation

i used to live on an estate that ran a residents comitee and they the rules of the road if you see anyone helping themselves to the salt at the end of the road you must stop them its ours and we may need it in a hurry a lot of rules for this estate anyway i left but there was nothing said about being illegal Wink    so is it illegal or not  Huh?

no idea, but can't see it been a problem for using after wfp as it's on pavements you'd use it.
at the end of the day you're after about a quids worth from the bin, the're hardly gonna throw the book at you, and you pay council tax etc etc
