Hi. Just started to use my pole and notice when im cleaning with all the clamps fully closed the sections of pole still tend to move around and twist so brush keeps swivelling around and wont stay in place. do i need to tighten clamps more, even though they are holding pole extended. Just wont stop twisting around. very annoying !!! Help

have the same problem here every now and then just tigthen up the screws, you will have to make sure you don't tighthen them too much so as it stops the pole extending

I have Ionics poles and when this happens I unscrew the nut off each clamp and stick a washer on, dont have make a difference.
you would think Ionics would put washers on at sauce os assembly but then again they know this will pro-long the life of the pole so no they wont do that as it would mean they make less money.
shocking aint it

Got a Gardiner CLX pole. Problem sorted now. I tightened the clamps slightly and now it doesn't turn at all. Great stuff. Cleaned my house with WFP today for first time. Frames were not very dirty so came out really well. Bit of spotting but hardly noticeable. Water was 000 ppm. Frames and sills gleaming ! How does washers on the clamps prolong the life of them and whereabouts do you put the washers ?
