i have just purchased brodex 25 ft pole from ebay,   it has   a red tubing for water supply,    this seems heavy for tubing,   can anyone advise on lighter strong tobing to use    and price to pay,   it also has garden hose type connector on end,   which is the most common hose connector to place on hose end,      do you use a standard connector  name.  just trying to start up into wfp cleaning.       which backpack   would you recomend using  + price.   i would like to get one and the right spec for wfp cleaning,    which connector would i be best getting fitted,   example,  to fit my pole to backpack  is it mae on one    female on other joining

Hi Mate,

Can you explain a little more about the tubing? Do you mean the usual hose and if so, what size diameter is it? We use a mini (not micro) bore hose with the standard feeder hose that goes through the pole.  At 25m in length this will be ample.  We also use a coverter that you can buy from any window cleaning stockist to covert a minibore to a standard hose connector for you to plug in.

Hope this makes sense.

regards

Pole hose has been well discussed on this forum, enter in the search bar and you will find hundreds of posts.

its down to personal preference really, some use 8mm or 6mm yellow mini/micro bore hose which works really well and is very durable, some use the hose that aquadapter supply which is very light weight......others use clear pvc tubing from diy stores.

regarding backpacks, i have used the shurflo which costs well over £200 and the wcw one, and the wcw is better in my opinion, cost around £150 with vat and postage
