I have just started to use another lad recently .
I have one lad that likes to do a day a week at the most due to his other work committments and toddlers .He is very good and earns his £50 easily.
This new lad is very reliable,trustworthy and pleasant.
However he is really slow .
But he is really through and top quality work I believe . But boy he is really slow . Only been his 3rd day .
Got him again thursday.
I hope he speeds up as I'm nearly faster being on my own today .
Difficult times this time of year as cloud cover makes tradding difficult with cloths being wet .
But Im sure he should naturally spped up .
think he used 2x as much water on each window , which I suppose is best as I dont have any complaints .
I had one lad once that was faster than me , which isn't right when new , he was binned .
But I think he will come good and Im lucky to have a rough diamond , just needs polishing up a bit .
I suppose a few on here have had lads that have got up to speed .

sounds like a good un. block one of his jets so he uses less water, sounds like his movements are just getting adjusted.

yep this lad is a good un . This means i have 2 quality lads now , one is good and quick and thius new lad is good but slow .
But then again we are fast as it is our business and incentive to earn the cash .
He will speed up in time .

when i started my nephew he was really slow with in a few weeks was flying,hes actually a good window cleaner but got lazy and started walkin past the odd window when i pulled him i said thats why ur so fast he said it was a mistake then it happened again hes now sacked but just watch when they are really fast sometimes not doing all the work

God this new lad is so slow .
Another day today , all wfp work , and we have used loads of water and basically i could of nearly done all the work myself .
Quality work though.
Good Chit-Chat.
Came with a brew
Repaired a connector no problem
So I'd say he is very good , and I wouldn't want to lose him , but come on lad speed up .
Its not his work-ethic , pretty much non-stop , its basically he washes each window about 5x too many.

he'll probably not find his higher gears till it warms up. at least he's meticulous, once he's done the round a couple of times and knows the windows (you know what i mean) he'll pick up a few knots  |

i have a girl working with me 1 day a week she is at collage the rest of the time at the start i took bad with the help and all the stupid ?? but i miss her now on the days she is at collage  as i am picking work new work all the time she is leaving collage in the summer and going to work for me full time i hope it all works out ok |

nobody touches ma bag......... thats the first rule written in capitals and underlined on dashboard.......... any person that sits in front seat has to repeat it 20 times or he neva sets foot in van again
im sure ive seen that rule in the window cleaning bible...... was nt as high on list as ive got it...... but its in at 19
