For anyone interested all the samples I have received are now exactly how they need to be, and the pole will be in production as we speak.  It should not be long now until its available.

Anyway here is a rough size, price, and weights guide..

I plan on 3 sizes, and are as follows

6 x 4 foot sections
working height 24 foot, closed height 4 foot
Weight 2.5 KG
Price £125.00

6 x 5 foot sections
working height 30 foot, closed height 5 foot
Weight 3 KG
Price £160.00

6 x 6 foot sections
working height 36 foot, closed height 6 foot
Weight 3.5 KG
Price £195.00

That's great new Peter!

Any chance you'd post some pictures? (And maybe another Youtube vid when you have time?!! )

Do the weights listed include the hose/brush/angle adapter etc?

The previous models were aluminium so I think these would be too. They will take a battering and no nasty splinters in your hands..

No the weight is the basic pole, unfortunately to have strength you have to have the weight, and the production process dictates it as well.

Craig it is glass fibre, but I am going to have a light carbon one as well in the near future.  This will be quite a bit more expensive.

I wanted to have something durable to get started, and something not too heavy.  I think this fits the bill quite well.

Remember this is a 24 foot pole that has 4 foot sections, and as you know the more sections you have the thicker they have to be, the more weight it adds.

That is where the Patent comes in Ronnie, the method that stops them spinning is a part of the Patent I am in the process of acquiring, and that is where all the time setting the whole thing up came from.  Basically you have a raised part running the whole length of the pole, which runs along a guide fitted on the end of the larger section.

been reading this thread with great interest and am slowly finding my feet here. have been a window cleaner for just over ten years and still clean the traditional way at the moment but health issues have made me rethink. i know of one or two fellow cleaners in my area who have started using these poles and reach and wash systems with mixed results so finding this forum has been like finding a goldmine. main problem i,ve come across is little spots being left on windows. i don,t want to divert from this topic but would appreciate being steered in the right direction with regards to starting out, typical costs, what to look out for etc. as mentioned on my introduction thread "new and confused" most of my round is at the moment, domestic. i have been impresed with the replies and advice and am starting to give this some serious thought now. thankyou for listening!

Peter,
Very happy with my 12ft section omnipoles. But am intrigued with your clampless poles. Especially in order to traverse through houses, where my poles are too awkward.
Are you happy to fit  a double trim flocked superlite brush from Alex? If so would you price me a 24 ft pole with the superlite as an autobrush?

regards Kevin J.

I would like to sell your pole in the US.  I am going to the IWCA show in Atlanta, GA in Febuary. It would be great to have it at our booth. Would you be interested in letting me be a US distributor?

I would expect at least 60 foot, but I will have to wait until I get my hands on them to know for sure.
