I just re-read this thread & realised I'd forgotten to update you all on the new controllers.
After I launched the indiegogo campaign, I was contacted by a supplier of window cleaning equipment who was interested in the controllers & was talking about an offer to take the whole project off my hands,.. so I cancelled the campaign and started browsing brochures for expensive holidays! Unfortunately, it didn't work out, and I found myself back at square one.
So,.. I've started fresh! I never actually stopped work on the design side of things, I've been busy developing an analogue range of controllers with models incorporating frost protection functions / remote control functions - and I've managed to make them smaller and cheaper than the original digital unit. In fact, when I put the 2 side by side, I decided that we'd have to re-work the digi unit to make it more compact & match the analogue versions!
