Thanks for all the replys to my previous posts guys , am just convincing myself to WFP system. Its all goin round and round in my head and some things that I am coming up with I wondered if you experirnced WFP cleaners could talk me through. When you have done an upstairs window how do you finish the sill of , I mean trad style you would just sweep a cloth over so does the WFP leave a lot of water on the sill to drip drip for ages.
Also does the strength of the brush manage to cut into any really dried bird droppins on the glass.
Also does WFP leave a lot of water in the customers yards etc.
Just tryin to convince myself its the way foprward, cheers Ted

hilly we all have had same concerns changing as you are but at all i can say is i would never go back to doing trad i still do some about 2or 3% of work but as to the bird muck on the top cills no you cant see the muck all you can do is use a cill brush when you change over always buy quality tools especially poles i would recommend gardiners poles and brushes as for the water dripping all i do is go around doing all tops first then come back to bottoms cill has stopped dripping hope this helps

Thanks for reply Mel, this kind of advice helps me no end. As for the bird poo I meant actually on the glass itself, cheers Ted

Best way i have found to get rid of bird poop is to give it a good soaking with the water then move on to another window 9 time's out of 10 when you go back to it the poop just come's off hope this helps

go for it. i only went wfp a few months ago i was like you worried about the mess with water, getting bird sh**t off, & are the windows clean.its great for tops & a lot lot quicker than going up & down a ladder you will fly through the work & do more houses a day which = more cash. Grin plenty scrubbing & rinsing & you wont go wrong.

I've only just gone over to WFP after 12yrs trad , should have changed years ago instead of wobbling about on ladders , i still enjoy trad , so do ground floor glass this way and tops WFP  Grin

Ive been doing Trad about 15 Years, and nearly went WFP about 18 Months ago but decided against it. Maybe i will one day, but if i do change,  i'd need to find alot of new customers as they hate it here in Torbay Devon!

very rarely do you leave any significant amount of water on the yard, 1st cleans maybe, but you won't be flooding anyone.
occasionally the bird muck takes a lot of getting off, sometimes even have to get ladders out, but you can buy various devices to deal with it from the floor.
in the main i prefer wfp, once in a while i have one of those days where i want to be trad again, but it does'nt last long Grin

Hilly, i'm pretty much the same as KJ. I only changed over to wfp just over 5mths ago now after years of trad. I was never convinced that this way could do the job as good, but i have to say i was wrong. The bird muck can be a s**t to get rid of, but as mentioned by others a good soak and scrub seems to shift it. After rinsing the windows and cils, i turn the water off and drag my brush across the cil which stops the excess dripping quickly. The whole wfp does a great job, speeds up your cleans and puts more money back in your pocket. Well woth investing a few quid into a small set up.  Grin
