Has anyone got any advice with regards to what I call 'lead runs' on windows, but mainly on Conservatory roofs.
What annoys me is you do a great job cleaning the glass, frames, roof etc but I just cannot budge the runs from lead lined/flashing.
I have tried ecover, gentle scrubbing but nothing seems to work.
Am I missing a trick???

Any advice would be helpful

If you get your customer's OK to spend anything you want until it's gone, fair enough - but the same stain will eventually come back.

Try MDR mineral deposit remover, or jeweller's rouge if you can get it from a glazier, or 0000grade wire wool. All of them need you to be right up on top of the stain though. You might need to invest in a conservatory ladder.

Never simple, is it? You're probably better explaining that it's because the flashing's made of lead and see if they can accept it's always going to stain.
