don't know for certain but can't see how diconnecting a pump can damage a membrane, only way i can see is if too much pressure went through them, which you'd need the pump to do. your pump hooks onto the hose at some point and they feed the membranes, sounds practically impossible to me but i don't have a pump.
phone byersan up and say the pumps bust, can i buy another, no doubt then Grin

i called in a while back because the pump burnt out and had to get a new one fitted when i asked for a pump that is constant they said no we dont sell them we only sell the type supplied with the machine

i said if i buy one from purefreedom can you fit it for me a bad question was answered quickly  no we dont deal with this company we are a business   i think what i will do is buy one from from freedom      and just fit it myself its only two pipes

There are two types of Aquatic pumps, ones that you can run for 24hrs others that you cannot so I would double check before you buy.
