I clean a big farm out in the middle of nowhere that breed and show great danes.

I text the customer the night before so that she makes sure all her dogs are in, she has a couple of dogs that are a bit viscious and them being so big would probably eat me. She replied to my text apologisisng that they were having some work done round the back and it was fairly muddy, no worries I thought, for once I will do them off my ladder.

This morning I tipped up got out the hose reel and cleaned the front. When I went round the back her dogs that she has in kennels kicked off barking fit to bust. I had done a couple of windows when two of her dogs came bounding out from the kennels all teeth and slaver, I was halfway down my ladder but needless to say I soon shot back up. I had to phone the customer to come home.

When she got there and put her dogs in she said that they must have been jumping at the gate and some how knocked off the catch, I was up that ladder for 20 minutes while she got home, I've got feet like a budgie now with perching that long. Grin Grin Grin

I laughed about it once I was safe in my van.

I normally get on ok with dogs but at the time I thought cowardice was the best option Grin

Just glad I had the customers number or I could of been there still  Shocked

It's small dogs that bother me they can nip at ankles bloody gits but then again a great dane probably is scary when coming full pelt at you  Grin several times Iv been in back gardens without even noticing a dog there obviously it must have been ok or Iv had the right attitude of concentrating on job & not been scared.
