adders: slightly out of order to trad  Cry but funny  Grin
liphook: is bang on it  Cool
mosty: have your say mate i fully understand you too  Wink

I have done trad since i was 16 years old for tight bottom f**kers that payed me no more than £50 a week sometimes. I have only been using wfp for less than 6 mths now, and have to say that i always said that Trad cleaning was the best way. But i never had the time or money to look into or invest into it all. Now i have tried it for myself i am very impressed. Although i would never say one is better than the other, as to be the very best in this wonderful choice of work, you really need to be a master of both!  Grin Grin Grin
I now try to do most tops wfp and ground floor trad, the pure water is more costly and if your good at trad, the ground floor is just as quick as wfp anyway.

Thumbs up to you all, better weather than today, more customers, more money, more holidays!

Been on WFP for 4 years, did trad for 17 years before that, started WFP tops only and trad bottoms, over last 6 months i'm now doing WFP both tops and bottoms, also bungalows WFP, this is due to knee problems, ruptures, fluid in knees etc, custies dont have a problem with it, at the end of the day it's how much pride you take in the job, work hard at both WFP and trad and you get great results in both, be shoddy at your work then the results will be poor, there are good WFP'ers and good Trad'ers but also remember there are cowboys out there in both.....SIMPLES.....!!!!!

The main concern is that it generates about 55 gallons of waste water per day.  That has a far more significant environmental impact than two buckets of water a day.

and where does this waste water go? up into the clouds and back down again..we don't waste it we recycle it  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

I hope that's a joke.  The fact that it has been treated at a water treatment facility, then been pumped to your house, then gone straight down the drain as unused water means that resources have been wasted, and it has impacted on the environment.

its funny that  a lot of windies here saying that alot of their custies dont like it percentage dont know now appart from 1 or 2 on my round which i have about 400 custies all say they would not go back to traditional and the few who want trad only want it as their windows are wooden and i can see where they are comming from even though i have explained it doesnt do damage to their windows i cant really prove it so i dont mind doing the odd one trad now i dont know how the windows can be cleaner when you do them trad as you aint cleaning the frames as good and a spit and polish dont clean that well either also what about smears i bet not all trad windies can ever be 100% their windows are smear free
