what way round do you guys have the baffels running in your vans. mines is set to stop water flowing left to right and vice versa. but getting a bigger tank so more water more weight i was thinking of setting it to stop forward motion. last thing i want is to brake hard and for the water to shunt me into a kid or something Shocked just need to take my time on corners though. is there a reccommended way?

They are put in like yours to stop the van rolling when going round corners and cambers. My new van is like yours and was a bit strange to start with ,water moving front to back. I made the same enquiery as you and am passing on what was told to me by the supplier and the forum.

I've mine installed to stop sideways sloshing,... but I was considering adding extra DIY baffles with that flexi 4" land drain pipes as there is a bit of movement when I stop at lights or a junction.

only reason i ask is i am getting a layflat and it will mean cutting out a section of the internal racking to stop side to side Grin so i was being idle and wondered if i could just turn it round Roll Eyes

after driving milk tankers and the swell you get there.i have fitted my tank so the swell does the same,ie baffles are set to stop flow going the the front,

it designed to stop that swell when you are braking meaning that you dont get pushed forward.plus you are more likely to be pushed forward than tip the van over. Cool

happy cutting. I think youv'e chosen the safest option. Bit of a pain with the cutting though. I have an peugot expert and you do get more room putting it that way.
