pump knacked up before xmas... ordered one from a company in grimsby..... .. when i was ordering it asked do i need special delivery 2/3 days ......£6 there was no other option.... so i took it....... i foned the next day an said i dont need it on special delivery... so could they ajust price for postage they could nt and would nt................ when i opened the box today the pump looked older than the one that id been using... the stainless steel casing was all dirty looking an also the bracket on back was bent......... foned them today..... told them this........ did nt get anywhere near a satisfactory awnser................. could of happened in transit from america...........
i aint buying a bloody thing of them..... and would ask u boys to try an buy elsewhere

was it a good price? does it work? they'd be the most important things for me! if i got it for a good bit less than elsewhere and only lost an extra couple of quid on p&p, i'd live with a tatty looking shell, if the workings are fine   |

There will be a manufacturing date on the pump so should have been manufactured last year if new.

i've never had a problem with them, had quite a bit of stuff of them and been to warehouse a couple of times,always had first class service, maybe you caught them on a bad day. Hope you get it sorted out.

Well if it's true what's been said here(abd I've no reason to doubt the OP) it's not on...
This company is supposed to be built on a background of good customer service(it's been mentioned on here many times over the years).
I'd like to see some pics of the pump or hear a defence from the Grimsby company because right now IMHO their reputation is in tatters!

i had a pump of them 5 years ago and i was having problem with it after 6 month i phoned them and was told t sounds like the presure switch and was to send it back. i got it back 1 week later in working order with a bill for £38.00 for a new presure switch i was raging as i thought it should of been coverd by the garuntee, |

got to say pure freedom have always been spot on ,i had a problem with a booster pump a while ago,it was a friday and they wernt open again till monday,i explained i urgently need the pump sorting before then as i had no water,the bloke opened up for me on the saturday morning and sorted the problem with no charge...ok i realise they can't keep everybody happy but they always have supplying and sorting stuff out for me  |
