I've got a cheaper method, just fold the pole hose over and pinch to stop the flow and release to start the flow LOL

Like it. If it's made to last then it could sell well I would imagine. Has the advantage of being interchangeable on any brush head.

Yeh I can see in time starting to get leaks coming through the pole! I personaly use a trigger, no need to cut the poles and leaving the screw head on you will be a ble to change the brush, with the aqua-dapter you would have to fit it to all brushes! I think it would work out more expensive than buying one trigger for everything!!!!

They could do with improving their website so that it at least said what it was! They say what it isnt by just listing some of the other options but fail to state where its fitted or how it works!

I understand more about it now I've watched the youtube vids. Still dont understand why I need to cut 6" off the pole and not just have a pole a few inches longer!

Hello every one, this is steve from aqua-dapter,i have noticed that you have been talking about aqua-dapter w.f.p tap. I can understand your questions. does it help that there's a 12 month parts guarantee. I have this confidence because the aqua-dapter has been tested. for example the question if it will leak. the tap was tested, it was rotated at 500 rpm for half an hour and still worked perfectly, that was the average of a years use switching the water on off between windows. question 2. will the hose come off over time? no because the fittings are high compression fittings, plus i have manufactured my own hose which is similar to what you would use in pneumatics, but my hose is water proof unlike standard pneumatic hose. even if the push fitting did go wrong you can simply replace the fitting which is also quick released to the aqua-dapter. I hope that as answered some questions, also my website is a bit poor but in the next few days it will be updated with 3D imagery where you can get to feel the aqua-dapter before you purchase one. Please if there is any other questions please let me know. Thanks Steven Aqua-Dapter Limited

Hi Steven, Why cut so much of the pole? Comparing to the trigger, how does your product compare and how would you rate it and why?

Hi thanks for your question. you don't have to cut 6in off its just that the aqua-dapter replaces the 6in you cut off, plus you don't want to add unnecessary weight, even though the aqua-dapter is light, as regard how it performs to the trigger, the trigger has good water control but you have to hold the trigger in one position which can be a bit awkward at times especially when cleaning above a conservatory roof, also it eliminates a loop of hose at the but end of the pole, so its like using a normal pole but with no switches or taps, just a simple pull on the hose. Thanks steven Aqua-Dapter.

Yeh I can see it's advantages, it can be a bit awkward where you need to press trigger for flow but also need to reach quiet far up the pole!
Does it have to have your hose? Can I not just adapt it to my hose I currently have?!

Hi This is steven from Aqua-Dapter, I noticed a comment from wash&clean that you can just pinch the hose. how do you pinch the hose when you extend and collapse your pole,aqua-dapter as been designed to make life easier theres only so many times you can pinch the hose in a day before you get fed up with it,it becomes easier just to let the water flow between windows but thats not saving your water.and if you want to put your pole down for 5 mins you still have to stop the flow, you can either pull the hose or bend down to disconnect your hose losing water in the pole or if you got a hosetail tap you can switch it off, these tend to get knocked about on the floor they also get snagged on things. pinching may be cheaper. but aqua-dapter is more efficient plus very ergonomic and more professional---it make life much easier

The pole hose needs to be 8mm diameter to fit to the aqua-dapter, my hose is made from a material that stays consistent in cold and warm weather, because the aqua-dapter is operated by a pull on the hose you can imagine if the hose is to soft it would stretch, this is true of cheap P.V.C hoses,it go like chewing gum in hot weather and hard in winter, my hose will last about 3yrs which i think is a good choice. Thanks Steven Aqua-Dapter

You can appreciate that if i send out free samples i would have to do the same for every one,aqua-dapter is not cheap to produce, the parts are made from expensive materials aluminium and stainless steel,aqua-dapter as also been tested for a long time before putting it on the market. it does what it says I would be happy to send a sample as long as i had a keep safe in case it was not returned. Thanks Steven.

Well Steven, good pitch and I think your Aqua-Adapter is a well thought out idea that deserves to work but it just won't suit everyone, when i said just pinch the pole hose you have to realise that a lot of us don't feed the hose through the pole, we have it hanging from the brush head as we like to swap between poles with a simple button press to change over, which isn't possible with your system (good as it might be) To fit out (two man team) with separate poles, adapters and brushes would cost me an arm and a leg, so for this reason i'm out (dragons den stylee) Rob.

I don't understand what you mean by you can't change it,you can put the aqua-dapter that is change it to any pole in a less than a minute, if you noticed i have already thought that out,the aqua-dapter replaces the end screw which can be put on any pole, the aqua-dapter is quick release. for most people having the hose on the outside is only practical if you dont keep extending pole up & down all day,so i believe that maybe telescopic poles are more practical so know you can convert a pole that has the hose on the outside to internal hose, i am also bringing out a fitting that goes inside the pole so when disconnected the pole becomes tubeless instead of untidy hose in the van. aqua-dapter is the only tap that would be practical for an internal fitting saying that you can switch the water off when the connector would be inside the pole. Thanks steven. Aqua-dapter.

What about modular carbon fibre? you have to have the pole hose external or am i missing summat? We also use a short pole for downstairs as most collapsed telescopics are too long. BTW i'm not knocking your product, i'm just saying with the way a lot of us work it's not compatible, unless you can come up with a way to allow the brush and adapter to quickly swap over as a unit to different poles, at the moment i just depress two buttons to swap the brush head using one of these with an external pole hose (hope that explains it better) Rob.
