I have recently started working on Saturdays especially if weather is fine like it is today. Last Saturday I picked up 5 newbies. Today I've got 3 facia's to quote plus half a days work. Most of my round is monthly so the more I can do while weather is fine the less I lose at end of month.

went out yesterday to do a guttering job and landed the two next door neighbours aswell. were a bit shocked on price at first untill i finished but then the wow factor kicked in and a bit of keeping up with the jones's lol. i was told it was the little extras ie alarm boxes , garage door and guttering  ect that got me the jobs.
also the customer wanted some cleaning done @£10 p/h so there a job for my daughter for 3 hours every 3 weeks. got g/f to do the very first clean ( no profit there today lol)

I work all hours and days to suit my fianacial needs and workload .
During the summer " kids " holidays i took a few midweek days off but then worked the weekend . I always pick my weekend work carefully , student houses or commercial . Private houses are difficult especially being wfp as imagine walking around the back of a house on a saturday afternoon and there having a barbecue , therefore i dont really do private work on a sat or sunday .If i do its usually a pre arranged big job.
I have 3 kids to support so i work accordingly to meet the demands of paying the bills .

If its wet during the week i will take the kids swimming etc , but will then work 4 hours on a sat or sunday .
Loads of trades , public sector work the weekends , therefore i dont bat a eye lid doing it myself , most custies are fine with it , some at least see you and appreciate you more .Some i find are jealous if you dont do the odd saturday .

Its hard fianancially these days so most families work alot .

When im home i always play with MY kids as soon as i come in as i have missed them and enjoy kicking the ball about with them.I do feel guilty working too much at times , but needs must

I notice some of you work on Sundays. I could never do that. Most working folk have a lie in on Sunday and a wc is the last person they want to see. For me personally I respect their privacy etc.
