hi guys big job on tomorrow i said i would be there at 8 its not double glazed should i do it Sad  i no hot water will crack glass but how cold does it need to be its a big job and dont want any problems cheers

might struggle at that time of day......... ma jets froze this morn... back of 8.... did not start till back of 9......... did not think it was that cold..... but frozen jets telt us otherwise

if you have hot water i think i read before that the water should be no warmer than 20 above the outside temp

Yep thats my rule, I call it ambient temprature, ie.  so if its 20C in summer   Roll Eyes dont go above 40C

and also its helpfull if you know if theres heating in the building you are cleaning, if there is the glass can then be warmer than the outside temp hope this gives you an idea

Conservatories often have frozen glass often near the ground as people cut back on their heating.

went to get reels an poles out van at 10 last night an van door was frozen ......... so neva got them in

oh dear, I found out that I could leave the doors open one click on mine, but the locks  had a habit of freezing closed later in the day so I had to bungee them together to be able to drive without the doors flying open when cornering, gosh I hope its not ging to be as bad as last year. Cry

Got it done lads it was a big hotel Smiley no problems with the windows only problem was getting my pole down had to run hot water over them Smiley
