I've had a couple of queries about the new remote controls I'm getting in stock. There's a picture below. Note that two remotes come with this despite there just being one in the picture.

These are great controllers with screw in connectors that keep the wiring neat and to a minimum. The controller can be used to control two items hence the two buttons on the remote control.

I don't have the new batch of remote controls in stock yet but if you want any then just let me know and I'll put them aside for you. Price is £22 inc P&P with a discount for P&P if you buy more than one.

I have been cleaning a few that haven't had the insides cleaned for years they are thick with smoke and webs and god knows, I think it is madness but as long as they pay up I don't care. I am sure its just a thing in their mind that they must have a window cleaner but in all honestly they dont care

its hard to smile isnt it ? when you see insides so bad as that, the mould on the curtains, dried up spiders inside  etc .  in my opinion theyre not good long term prospects .  the VERY BEST  however are the ones where you first time clean and realize the insides are already spotless, now that gets me smiling  as i know im onto a winner

to be honest July wasn't that long ago, some of my commercial run three months behind, but once it comes in it comes in just fine, two years ago I did a similar job along the lines you describe but it was all over the phone so I had no proof and 4 months later it was paid out of the blue

If things continue to go on the way they have, then unless you are prepared to take them to a small claims court, the hard fact is you have been shafted. Official sounding scarey letters and emails will have no effect if it is a dodgy company. They will gamble on you not taking things further.
My advice is keep at them for a month yet and then write it off if no joy.

I did a job in July for a Shopfitting company based in the North of England. Basically involved a shop front clean of a local Argos store in Pembrokeshire.

Communication was both via email and telephone and have records of all. The price was agreed via email. The company was very keen to get the job done asap as the handover was overdue.
I bent over backwards and dropped loads of work and completed the job in unsociable hours.

I posted the company an invoice with thier work sheet which was signed by the Argos store manager. My invoices state that they are to be paid strictly within 28 days. I followed this with a coutesy email with payment terms etc.

This period has long gone and have had no communication from the company.
What next....am i within my rights to send a 14 day letter with a surcharge if its not paid?

Dont like working for nothing!
