Had a near miss today when I jumped a red light ( my own fault )     but didn't realise the police car behind me which followed me and than with blues and two's going pulled up alongside me.

copper asked me to wind my window down and then said to me   I suppose your gonna try and tell me that was amber when you drove through ?        I held my arms up and said no I aint gonna insult your intelligence and I was an idiot  but the only explanation I can offer officer is that at 40mph I didn't want to slam on the brakes with 650 ltrs of water on board  but yes I admit it was stupid of me.

expecting points and a fine he said to me      that statement has just saved you points and a fine  now heed the warning my friend and drove off.

I have to say he could if he wanted to have done me but cut me some slack so massive respect to him

sorry about the swear word Mr H   but sometimes we all have to admit to being an A.R.S.E. at some point  and today it was my turn.

lets just say NEVER AGAIN.

and him knowing that by just giving me a talking to done the trick and knowing I had respect for him afterwards and knowing that I knew it could have been much worse for me.
