i was watching the news at 10  last night and some fella was talking about scotland going into the euro   is it true have you heard anything  up there   Roll Eyes

FFS. It's the London government trying to put the frighteners on Scotland by saying we'll have to join the Euro if we vote for independence. The vote, if it goes ahead will be in 2014. The heid honchos arsing about bit IF we vote for independence will last for many years beyond that. Seriously, IF we vote for independence and IF we have to join the Euro then it will be about 2030 before it all happens...

and chip no we will become mortal enemy's and never ever able to converse again Grin I may enlist in the the new Scottish Army so I can do border control and shoot you if you approach more than one hundred meters of the border, and I will send my youngest daughter back to England as she was born in somerset, so not welcome here Huh? maybe she will be ok in wales as a refugee Roll Eyes not sure

at least it'd be an end to me having to accept as legal tender those mickey mouse fivers and tenners you have up there, mind you, monopoly money looks more convincing than euros
