i too was lucky today- up my ladder i decided to put 1 foot onto a wide concrete ledge that ive walked on previously ,to allow me a tad better reach-  Suddenly the ledge  broke away from the building as i put my weight on it ,as if made of cheese . closer exam showed it had snapped before and had simply been glued back into place with mastic and then painted over

A good tip for wet mobile phones is to leave it over night in a bowl of rice and the rice will draw all the moisture out of the phone leaving it dry.
