From Mrs Alice Marco

Dear friend,

My name is Mrs Alice Marco, I am sorry the way these email came to you but I hope you will understand that its out of circumstances that I have contact you . I was a personal assistant to Mrs Imelda Trinidad Romualdez-Marcos during President Ferdinand Marco's dictatorship as the president of Philippines. Which finally his government was toppled and all of us in his government went in to hiding and President Ferdinand Marco and his wife Mrs Imelda Trinidad Romualdez-Marcos fled to Hawaii (via
Guam) after his regime was toppled by the four-day People Power Revolution in EDSA .
I am contacting you due to what I have suffered here in Philippines in hiding due to the Philippines government wants to convict everybody that worked under President Ferdinand Marco because of financial mismanagements and extravagancy caused by Mrs Imelda Trinidad Romualdez-Marcos. Blow is a web page that can detail you better of Mrs Imelda Trinidad Romualdez-Marcos’s extravagancy.

Well before the regime of President Ferdinand Marco was toppled, I secretly put in a box the sum of $8,000,000 million USD (Eight million United States dollars) and also diamonds what millions of Dollars and deposited it in a security company abroad, which I made from contract executions and gift received from Mrs Imelda Trinidad Romualdez-Marcos for keeping secret of her dealings in Philippines.
I am contacting you because I want you to help me in securing the money and help me leave Philippines since the government now monitor all my movement and also which right now I am leaving in absolute hardship. I hope to trust you as you will not sit on this money when you claim it. I am ready to give you 25% of the total money for your assistance. If you are willing to help me, God Bless you as you help, Mrs Alice Marco I WILL LIKE YOU TO REPLY AT You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Everyday I usually get the following emails....:-

An offer to help an orphan get money out of a country before her evil uncle can claim it.
An offer to help a bank manager get money out of a closed account containing millions before the corrupt government does.
A dieing woman who wants all her money to be invested in christian good causes.
My inheritence fund must be claimed quickly or I have the same surname as someone who has left millions but no-one else to claim it.
Won an "on-line/email" lottery with Microsoft, Amazon, Volvo, etc
I need to contact a courier company who are trying to deliver my £1.3million in cash.
An offer to help process an international companies payments and I get to keep 10%-20% of the value.
A bank saying I haven't collected my £2million thank you from them.
A businessman who wants to invest in another country.
A bank, ebay, paypal or other service saying I need to click the link and heck my login details as they have either just updated to a more secure system or noticed strange activity on my account and I must log in and check it...
An orphan who has £6million and will give me half if I claim I her relative so she can get out of the country.
Offers of cheap drugs, watches and software

They are simply playing the gready numbers game. They send out several million of these every day and even if just 1% reply and 1% of them get roped in then they can earn a years pay. Some people who have gone to the Ivory Coast or other places to check out that its for real have ended up kidnapped and held for ransom....... The bank ones are probably their most profitable as they will finally send you an email from a bank you actually deal with and if you click the link you go to "their bank" and end up entering your login details.... as soon as you have done that they are right behind you logging in and emptying your account.......

In the words of NYPD blue........... Be careful out there.......

Regards
Mr H

If you reply they know that the email address is in use and looked at so all they do then is pass your details on to someone else, usually by selling it. You can buy 1million active email addresses for about £500 these days. The most common way for them to get email addresses other than using web trawlers to scan sites for email addresses, is from e-card sites and also from having their email addresses added to chain letters..... You know the ones you get from your friends that have been passed on and on to different people..... Well all they do is start by posting out their acive email address on to a few sites and wait for someone to email them a funny pic or something and then they just add their address to the list and send something different to everyone that was on the original list. Many peoples email client will automatically add the new address to someones group and so the next time they send something to all their friends the rogue address is included and so they get a list of all of your friends email addresses and so it snowballs onwards. So if you do get the urge to "forward" a funny to all your mates just think first and delete all the previous addresses asigned to that email....

regards
Mr H

Anyhoo Steve I thought you were HMCS not HWCS, and Stevie we stayed in the Village hotel in SA1 again, you need to go get the contract it's only 5 floors high  and whoever is doing it is using a cherry picker and doing it trad, when there is clearly no need to cherry pick it a saving of (my guess) £350+vat, go in and see the Head of Housekeeping. I was very tempted myself. Smiley
