I've taken recently to going round the estate where I live on foot, armed with a trolley (converted omnitrolly) pole and 50 litres of water. Not too bad as it happens, I thought it'd be a killer, but it's hardly worth starting the van, and only a 15 minute walk from one side to the other. Easy to pop home for a re-fill, and or a cuppa.

Tomorrow, I'm going to have a look at a trailer, one I can fix to my mountain bike...I reckon it'd all go on that.

Anybody else thought of any ideas to beat the fuel prices, go green, reduce carbon footprint, get some excersise , etc ?

The other parts of my round, obviously, I need the van to get to....but you know what ? I'm kind of enjoying it.  Grin  Cool

It will certainly keep you fit!

I personally have not much work within walking distance, thus it aint an option for me.

I'm simply being careful with my driving, trying to reduce wasted diesel.

ha, good thing most are out at work then...still, years ago, it's said that cleaners went out on bikes, can't believe it myself, but it's a funny old world.

The eco friendly angle will really sell. You can still have a uniform, and sign write the trailer!!
