Our boiler has started leaking water.. is it anything to worry about or can I get someone to sort it after the weekend?

i know  [ I should have amended this post ]  all about boilers (although i did marry one  Undecided) but this did happen to me last year and my cousin (who's a plumber)told me to turn it off till he could get here and sort it out.

Where is the water leaking from, the actual boiler or a pipe into the boiler, if its a pipe into the boiler is it at a  conection. what will happen is pressure will drop in your boiler, if it gets to low it won't work. You will need to get it checked as soon as you can.

Happened to me once,.. leaking from the pump,.. someone told me ignore it, it'll be fine for a few days.

The water leaked into the electrics and wrecked the circuit board, and it cost me €180 to get it fixed!
