it will not cost anything to open, and most banks do a free period for charges and when they do charge you put it through the business as an expense.
what bank you with?

maybe I explained it wrong, it costs nothing to open the account, but you are charged for banking cheques ect, although most banks offer a free period for a year or eighteen months then you get a monthly charge, depending what you bank and how you bank it, I pay 13 to 25 quid a month, Santander do free business banking but don't sound to reliable to me.

Santandar business banking is free provided you pay in £1000 per month.
Co-op will actually pay you £25 per year to use their business account.
