Yes the song title says Ive just completed my 7th day without smoking and I'm really on a high,      I did give up last year but stupidly went back last September but now I'm full steam ahead again.

this time I really sey my mind to it and decided to make it a real challenge by trying to lose weight as well,     and every smoker will tell you when you give up you put on weight not lose it.

well I have really disiplined myself and been going for a nice hour long walk each morning and feeling so good,    at the start of Feb I weighed 20 stone 2 pounds and just been weighed this morning   18 stone 9  so WAAAAAHOOOOOOOO    and thats was with a bag of mini dime bars over the weekend ( well it was my birthday )

so just off for my walk now with may just include a few dance steps along the way  Grin ( a sight for sore eyes  Grin Grin

so its dfay 8 today and yes I'm counting as every day without is another little battle won.

have a great week everyone and yes I can smell spring in the air so not long now and dont forget 28th March   clocks go back  and we all know what that means   WET SUMMER  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin      just joking I know for a fact its gonna be a fantastico summer.

it dont realy bother me, i moan about the smell etc to annoy smokers more than it realy bothers me, what does annoy me is when smokers have to take regular puffs on inhalors, like my misses for instance

Thanks Kempy lad but 17 stone is a little wat off for mre just yet at 18/9  at the mo but was over 20 stone not long ago so yes I could be one of the heaviest   but at 6ft6 I also suspect I could be one of the tallest.

6ft 6" , so id guess a weight of around 16 stone is ideal ? , or maybe 17stone  . I didnt realise you were that tall , superb for a trad cleaner , dont need a ladder .
Have you heard about inoics "speed pole" , mr H says its being launched at the show ?

yes they say 16 stoe is about right for someone my height but believe me mate if I were 16 stone I would look ill,  2 of my ex birds both didn't like it when I got down to below 18 stone as they said I looked to thin ?

women eh   you cant live with them  you cant live with them  Grin Grin Grin

haven't heard anything about the Ionics speed pole  but hopefully I will be going the cleaning show ( work permitting )

Good on all of you for giving up, i stopped on the eve of the millennium at midnight, never had one since or even thought of having one..
I will be doing the great north run later in the year, so need to get my BMI down to a reasonable level.

Anyway those that stopped smoking last week dont give into temptation and resist the urge, it does get easier over time.

im 6 ft1  and about 16 stones , started running lately, im determined to shift the belly . last year i had a checkup at the docs , was told a 6ft1 man should be between  9.5 stones and 13 stones depending on  build.  im sure i will find ladders easier if im 13 stones, gonna giv it my best shot
