If you can take them out they may just need a little clean, maybe something stuck in it causing the spray not to go where it is supposed to.

I use a different method than the ones in the picture.

I see your metal is fixed, whereas mine is an Unger adjustable angled head, i.e. the crook of the metal can be changed. So seeing your dilema, and I suppose you have some spare brush heads?
1. Easiest option. Cut back your flow rate when doing the top of the frames. Or stand further back so that the angle is more parrallel in relation to the ground.
2. Loosen the spray fixtures & stick some 1/2 washers (cut in half) in to make the angle.
3. Or cut out some of the plastic of the brush to the desired spray angle. If this doesn't work then you'll have to re-level or get a new brush head!
4. Ask Peter!!
5. Last resort- bend metal even more-no don't even think about it!

Give it a good blow through from both ends, and maybe a poke with a pin or something, see if there is any dirt inside.  Sometimes you get some plumbers thread seal, or grit, making its way up to the brush.  If a cleaning dosn't do the trick then a phone call to your supplier for new jets should.

I have been asked to reasearch cleaning a 6 storey building with a water fed pole system.

Is this possible?

Will they reach this high?

How effective is this method?

Are there any safety issue to take into consideration?

Any help would be great.

Thanks

hi peter, im thinking of going wfp but i work on my own most of my stuff could be reached by 18ft but not the ones i really need it for so i would have to get a 24ft at least. in this case how awkward would it be changing or shortening pole to do bottoms or would i have to do full street of tops and then full street again for bottoms cos that doesnt sound too quick. my big ladder is 16ft so i can reach about 30 ft i am 6ft so im guessing a 24ft would be ok
much obliged
isnt snow great Grin

After over 20 years window cleaning, I am looking at the water fed process, but have a few questions.
Can wfp be used on leaded light or box windows ?
What happens when the top upstairs window is open ?
All my work is compact(one house after another) so a trolley system would be the best. I have seen a Pure Freedom trolley system, are they any good ?
Also my average price is £7-8, do you put prices up when changing over to wfp ?
Are there any internet demonstrations ?
Please reply as I do need this information. Thanks

I am a homeowner who is looking for a waterfed pole system to clean my conservatory (and other windows).  My conservatory is large and I will probably need a 20ft pole to clean 40-50 square metres of glass.

My queries are:
How much use is there from one deionising cartridge?
What is the best type of brush to clean the windows with eg you see some pole systems with mop-style heads, squeegees, brushes etc?

Hi guys,

I just noticed the questions on this board, I don't check it out much as it's only a FAQ.

If you have any questions about water fed poles, or window cleaning, it is better to go to the appropriate board and start a new topic with the question in the subject box, that way you will get the answers you are looking for much quicker.

Thanks,

Peter

Anyone know of any good questions they would like to ask about water fed pole work? Questions I could answer, or anyone else, and put them on this board

Thanks,

Peter
