Hello guys , I have read a lot of posts on here about different types of cleaning solutions but they all ( unless i a wrong) seem to be a few years old , can any one tell me what the best solutions are at the moment. I use Unger fluid now but the last tub is nearly empty so am wondering what  people use theese days , thanks Ted.

Try Lidl W5. Fairy I always get change of direction marks and streaks but with W5 it seems a lot less. If you are in a hard water area, try changing to a bottle on a belt method but put pure water or reclaimed rain water in your solution bottle.

Hagesan (HG) window cleaner is an excellent soap.  You get as much shine as GG3/GG4, but loads more slip, and no streaks EVER

Another guy tried it as well - said it left smears. I don't know what water ratio was used, but since getting a bar of dove soap would take me most an afternoon, I won't be trying it unless it falls in my hands.

How do you find the ecover to work with?

how do you compare it to other liquids?

It's less soapy so I find I have to work quick - other liquids such as Asda's own / fairy seem to take longer to dry up (maybe that's my perception though).  Customers have commented that they're happy with the shine it leaves so I keep on using it.

i've allways used fairy, now i'm wfp i don't think about it much, but the other day bought morning fresh as it was 2 for a quid, garbage, it's almost as thin as water, need to use loads per load, with fairy a squirt or 2 is plenty, the advert was right, a few more pence makes a lot more sense Grin

i use squeegee off, was using fairy but the blade definately glides faster and better and a lot less smears, i use it quite weak and scrub hard.
