Can anyone explain what this is?
Some windows make the water spread, a splodge of water doesn`t just run down the glass, it starts to spread like tree roots.
Detailing has to be done really quick, because you can see it creeping out and it looks like ice forming, it spreads to just over an inch on the sides and creeps up about half an inch at the bottom. It seems to be getting more common, more soap, less soap, more water, less water makes no difference.
If I`m witnessing a miracle here I am way to old to contemplate a change of life.

Yes I know what your talking about here but.......sadly not got the answer. Has got to be somit to do with manufacturing process but, if you wfp the glass it doesnt seem nearly as bad.

Super hydrophobic windows. We have a few here, you may want to detail first before using your squeegee - some UK window cleaners do it this way anyhow. Wfp sorts it out, but is more prone to spotting from dirty frames. Clean the frames really well on this type of window.
