yOU MUST BE A COWBOY SUNSHINE! It is impossible to do it and you know it. To move ladders around would take nearly five mins. To clean a window properly 3-4 min (including the frames) getting the money or writing a bill 2min (min) You are having a laugh cowboy and i would love to follow you round and pick up all that lovely extra work!!!!!!!
Kindest regards
Andy

if i could clean that fast i would have retired by now as i would be on£170/ hour i only work 5 hrs a day so that would be£850 a day or based on 4 days a week £3400 a week for 20 hrs work. so you must be charging vat? not to mention your tax band. also based on those figures thats way over 1000 barrat homes a month !mmmmmmm ok even if your charging only £5/house your on very good money and you should be vat registered. lets hope the tax man aint reading this lots of barrats and wimpeys in glasgow? however i do believe that you have batches on your round where you can clean 12-17 houses an hour . good onya

having watched a few window cleaners in action i believe that it is possible to do what you say, the quickest guy i saw ran up the ladder and applicated the right window and as he was squeegeing the right one he was already applicating the left window and he gave a quick wipe of the sills, then ran down the ladders at full speed and the bottom windows were done the terry burrows way, applicate and squeegee at the same time almost. then wipe the sill. he did a three bedroom house in about 4 - 5 mins. i would imagine you could do that if you were fit and looked after yourself, not saying that if you cant do that you must be unfit lol its just that these guys who do speed cleaning are a cut above the rest of us and that happens in every walk of life. for example there are good footballers who get the job done and there are the great footballers who blow your mind. these guys who do the speed cleaning are to be applauded for their attitude to work and fitness levels, however even they know that as they get older their fitness will wain. if i could do what they do i would be tempted to blow my own trumpet i think.

but whats the point? a fatty like me can buy a wfp and do it just as quick and do the frames. its better to work smart rather than work hard. its all about having the best tool for the job. however i applaud the window cleaner who can do trad at that speed . that in itself deserves respect!

hi again guys, just to update on what i normally do during my working day. i normally clean 12 houses an hour trad ( 2-3 bedroomers ). i use the system mentioned on one of the last posts, and i do a good job. i have been doing trad now for well over 20 years and can count on one hand the customers lost and they are normally cancellations due to moving etc. i am not trying to say i am better than YOU are have some kind of talent as the last post said, i am not the david beckam of window cleaning lol i wish i had his cash all i am saying is that is what I do, and if you are offended then i am sorry, maybe i should say i cant do that just to please? anyway hopefully this post will be assigned to the files of history and no-one will find them for a century or two.lol

4 mins must be an exageration. there teenage girls getting pregnent quicker than that. 2mins should be the most to clean a window.

cool vid, 13 mins for an average house?
how much did he earn for that house and what kind of brush is he using that doesnt require rinsing?
the pole sucks though, mine is a hybrid pole that can get to the top window in 3 secs flat.
if he is charging 15 - 25 quid then ok, but average house is only 6 quid to 8 quid so he would need to cut corners as shown in vid ie no rinsing to make money.

he was rinsing if you watch he did each pain of glass twice and a stream of water rinsed even though he kept his brush on the glass. he also cleaned the conservatory roof. i would charge £15- £20 for that house depending on how many others i did in the area. thats agood hourly rate if you can clean 3 -4 an hour

Hi all, I used to be one of the fastest trad window cleaners in my area. I'd be able to run up and down the ladders and have plenty of energy to spare. However, after 21 years and at age 54 I realy have to admit I'm slowing down a bit. There's nothing you can do about it but just keep going. Towards some I'm realy fit for my age though. I reckon you need to be by this age. Somone said to me some years ago "it's a young mans job" and somtimes I feel it's true! Chris
