Try GG3 for soft water or GG4 for hard water...
GG stands for Glass Gleam. available from Scrimcity and many other places...
Also good for cleaning pvc...

Hi, Have gone back to washing-up liquid after extensive trials with Unger, GG4 etc. Found with these I was getting a lot of runs and also change of direction marks with blade. It also dries white like the washing-up liquid so no gain there either. Find Fairy best and get good glide too. Also I can see what I am doing much better, especially with a pole. Washing-up liquid also "holds" the water in place realy well for pole work so hardly any runs from top edge. Chris.

green fairy is absinthe,an alcholic drink, but fairy washing up liquid is good for cleaning dishes not window, if you want to be profestional, you should by professional window cleaning liquids.
a professional window cleaner dont buy from a supermarket.

whayhey something i can agree with kirky on tried all the "pro" liquids like unger,gg4 etc etc etc etc etc, never again. just stick to fairy is my advice, if you run out of it go into the first grocery shop you see and restock, if you run out of the "pro" liquid you got to wait till its delivered or drive a few miles to the shop to restock, waste of time. now that i am mostly wfp now, i dont need a lot of detergents so when i do need to do some trad i just grap the washing up liquid from the kitchen and get a earful from her indoors. if you are a big company though you may be cheaper in the long run buying bulk of the gg's but if you are a one man band or even two then washing up liquid is best fairy nuff.

a lot of the same chemicals in squeegee off are in fairy so why not use it.have tried it myself but find it a bit too sudsy so stick to squeegee off when cleaning trad. seems silly to me for people on here slagging off fairy when a lot of the other detergents seem to based on it. personally i think its a personal preference if fairy worked for me i would use it. really wish certain people on here would stop using the word cowboy at a drop of a hat just because they dont use the same methods as themselves. seems to be some snobbery on here. funny coming from window cleaners aint it!

Yeah that will be fine. After trying the "professional" stuff I usually use Fairy now but I am on Persil washing up liquid at the moment . All seem much of a muchness.

I'm currently using wfp and fairy liquid, but changing back to gg3 (had to change cause my hands were getting wrecked by the gg3, itchy sore etc) sometimes work ina two so if one of us is doing trad gg doesnt muck windows up for next time I wana do them wfp.
