just drape your scrim on the end of pole and use it to detail the edges .when u buy your wagtail buy the angle extension too, theyre great together on a pole. the 24inch wagtail is ace for BIG windows

You can always use a dedicated tool to detail with. I actually use wagtails own plastic angle with a microfibre cloth held on with elastic band. This is when I'm using a large wagtail. When doing domestic, I use a specially adapted tool permenantly fixed to the wagtail. Takes a lot of practice but I got good at it now. I only use 12" on domestic.

I never realy did the frames to start with. I always saw it as a seperate job by request. However, I somtimes wipe the upper sills with a tool and old microfibre cloth held on by elastic band. It's quite effective once your'e used to it. At a push, you can just about do the frames with it too if you want. You could use Ungers clamp if you want.

been using the wagtail all week having left the trolley in the van and have come to the conclusion that im quicker with the wagtail due to the nature of the houses on this part of my round, at this rate i reckon i'll only use my trolley on three storey work and leaded windys. must admit though if i knew they where this good i never would have invested in wfp

Hi Kev, how long you been on the forum? Another tip I forgot to mention the other day was the W5 washing-up liq from Lidl.. It should give you a bit more slip and less streaks. I ran out the other day and used Fairy. It's not as good for sure. If I have any work I don't want I will let you know. Chris.

Hi Kev, welcome to the forum anyway, great to have you. Sorry I forgot about the W5. Hope the blade works better than the old one.

I have been using a 14" Flipper but decided to get a 12" - none in stock so ordered a squeegee and modified it to waggas design, works ace. I have attached the mop with 4 small bulldog clips which are working well. The mop is a moonsoon that i have cut to size and shaved a bit of the length off, i have also removed about 3/4" of the mop surface back to the backing material on the edge you attach to the squeegee and it helps it to flipper better. I will post a pic when i can figure it out lol.
