Hi All, Does anyone know if there is any other product that swivels like the Wagtail. I find this tool indispensible, especially for pole-work, It's just that there doesn't seem to be a supplier in Uk and Aussie is expensive. Peter mentioned Omnipole for Wagtail so I'll have a look there. Unless youv'e seen the Wagtail in action on the end of a pole then you can't emagine it's potential. You know, I wish I could post a video demo of it in action, but I wouldn't know how to do it. I'd need a cam-corder first. I suppose it would help a bit! One of these days......... Chris.

Hi Mark, Yes you do have to wipe edges after using the Wagtail Flipper. It's one of the downsides of the tool. you can't quite get as much pressure on it because of it's design. Having said that, i use it mainly on pole-work because there is nothing on the market that comes near it for all the angles such as over conservatories etc. In the main you can do a window over a conservatory at an angle without bringing the pole down to change the angle. Takes a great deal of practise of course. Iv'e made a mod to mine which I think is crucial though. Chris

Well, I tried the wagtail..........erm, think I'll stick to my own equipment. I reckon its made for abseilers or people off chairs. It has high scratch capability & found it very slow to use. Because I use a boab, I find I don't really need to use this sort of equipment. Very similar to the procurve with the movement. I see that procurve are coming out with a new triangular pole.....now where have I seen that mentioned

Hi I use the wagtail with a boab all the time. Actually, Wagtail have changed their design and I still use the older system where there is the velcro fastening which I much prefer. The applicator pads are much better. Don't know what I'll do when it all wears out but then I'm realy good at adapting things. I find the Wagtail flipper realy great to use and get good results especially with W5 washing-up liquid from Lidle. I went back to conventional gear for a while and found it very good but its still two tools when once you get used to it, one tool is just great. And I can't emphasize enough how good the Flipper can be with a pole. It's all about angles with a pole and with experience it's amazing what can be achieved especially when cleaning a window above a conservatory for instance. With any other system you set the angle to mop the window then you have to reset by lowering pole for blading. With Flipper its all taken care ofand you don't have to lower the pole. Most of the time the natural swivel of the tool will be enough without having to set an angle at all. I wish I could demonstrate but there you go........
