Hi

I have been using the sorbo for 6 months now, thinking i was doing an ace job unitl today. I got asked to do insides on a bugalow I do on a regular basis. It was very sunny and when i looked out all i could see was drag marks made by my sorbo.  Has anyone else encountered this or is it just me.  Im now thinking about going back to the unger handle using soft rubber.  However I do like the sorbo handles, are their any other rubbers that i could use because i think the sorbo rubber is gripping the glass too much.

Any help tips grateful or let me know if you use a good squeege and i might look into changing.

I use Sorbo at times.
The rubber seems to be a soft rubber and is long lasting.
On certain glass the rubber is brilliant but it does not seem to suit some glass.
I havn't quite figured it out yet.
If you are fanning keep the overlap to a minimum.
The Australian Baron rubber fits Sorbo channels, it has 4 usable edges and works well.

Is it time for a rubber change? Seriously!
Never had any problems with Sörbo, change down a size & see of you have the same problem. What liquid are you using? Are the windows seriously hydrophobic?

You may find it similar to the Sorbo rubber but worth a try.
Postage should be relatively inexpensive.

your  doing insides  am i right ?  this problem probably  occured  when the heater is  on.. am i right ? and the heating was  quite  warm    right ?  and  you stripped  down  to your  polo shirt  right ?  LOL

i  had  the same  problem ,, so your  not alone. i think its the soft rubber   from sörbo .. ive  tried  everything . the  best thing ive   found  is  to whip out the wagtail and use  that .------ the wagtail is  excellent  for   squeegeeing in  such  places  where the  heating is  very  high   and  that occurs .. the heater was underneath the window maybe  ( here  they  have  a lot  under  floor  heating ) and  where the sun is  shining like a bast.....this happens  to me  maybe   1  in 100 homes...  and i find the  sörbo works  great for the 99% of  homes  but  i always  seem  to have  problems  by the  remaining 1 %.. but thats  not   aproblem i dont get my knickers a  twist i just whip out   Mr Wagtail. and thats  the problem  gone. and   i use  cool water  from a  water bottle  for the squeegeeing !  this where the  Swoop  from   wagtail will come into its  own  hopefully !
